Request Account Deletion
You can request deletion of your FooZenie account and all associated data. This action is permanent and cannot be undone.
How to Delete Your Account

Send an Email Request
Send an email to privacy@ioriented.com with the subject line "Delete FooZenie Account" and include your username or registered email address. We will process your request within 30 days.
Data That Will Be Deleted
Upon account deletion, the following data will be permanently deleted within 30 days:
- Your account information (username, email, password)
- All your saved recipes
- All recipe images you uploaded or generated
- Your shopping lists and items
- Your pantry inventory
- Your tags and categories
- Your app preferences and settings
Data That May Be Retained
The following data may be retained for a limited period after account deletion:
- Transaction records — Purchase history may be retained for up to 7 years for legal and tax compliance
- Anonymized analytics — Aggregated, non-identifiable usage statistics
- Legal holds — Data subject to legal proceedings or government requests
Important Notes
- Account deletion is permanent and cannot be reversed
- You will lose access to any active premium subscription
- We recommend exporting your recipes before deletion
- Deletion requests are processed within 30 days
